Double Homicide Investigation Underway in Mount Ord, Arizona

On Tuesday morning, May 27, 2025, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office responded to a call near State Route 87 between Mesa and Payson, Arizona. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of two teenagers. One victim has been identified as 18-year-old Pandora Kjolsrud. The other victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. "Deputies are investigating the two deaths as homicides," a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office stated.
