OutdoorMix Festival 2025: Pumptrack Mania in Embrun

Embrun, France, is currently hosting the 11th annual OutdoorMix festival, a vibrant celebration of sports, nature, and contemporary music in the Hautes-Alpes region. The festival, expected to draw around 140,000 people by Monday, has a particular focus this year on the pumptrack, a unique track designed for skateboarding, BMX, and mountain biking. "It's really cool to have this here," says Morgan Merel, a rider from Savoie, highlighting the pumptrack's growing popularity in France. The pumptrack's design caters to all skill levels, with different colored lines indicating varying degrees of difficulty. "There's green, blue, and red, a bit like in skiing," explains Clément Hinger, a rider from Aubagne.
