Congress Must Invoke Impeachment Clause: A Call to Action
The impeachment clause in the US Constitution was designed to prevent a president from becoming a tyrant. Congress has a duty to invoke it. John Bonifaz, president and co-founder of Free Speech For People, recently gave a speech emphasizing this point. He stated, "The Framers understood when they set out to establish the Constitution that there would be no monarchs, no tyrants who would govern our nation." Bonifaz's organization has launched impeachtrumpgain.org, a national campaign dedicated to the impeachment and removal of Donald Trump from office. Over 500,000 people have already signed on. Bonifaz urges others to join the movement to "deal with the crisis we face today."
