Surveillance footage from the store, located at Petronas Rengit, captured the incident. The video shows an individual entering the store, approaching the counter, and then moving to a display area where they are seen picking up a cat. The person then quickly exits the store with the animal. The owner, who uploaded the footage, has made an urgent appeal to the public for assistance. "PLS PLS PLS PULANGKAN BALIK KUCING TU," reads a message overlaid on the video, alongside a plea to "TOLONG VIRALKAN THIS ISTG PLS HELP ME." The owner hopes that by widely sharing the video, the cat can be safely returned.
