
Local Students Cycle to Victory in Road Safety Competition
Füzesabony Students Triumph at Cycling Safety Competition Füzesabony, Hungary – Students from Füzesabony demonstrated exceptional road safety skills and cycling prowess at the recent Cyclist School Cup and the county finals of the "Who is the Master on Two Wheels" competition. The event, held on May 13th, saw Füzesabony students achieve remarkable success, winning both individual and team awards. The competition included a challenging obstacle course and a written test covering traffic rules. "The students' performance was outstanding," commented Erdélyi Róbert, secretary of the Heves County Police Headquarters' Accident Prevention Committee. "Their preparation and dedication were evident in their confident handling of the challenges." Varga Ábel, a student from Széchenyi István Catholic Elementary School in Füzesabony, shared his experience: "The slalom course and the eight-shaped figure were difficult, but we practiced a lot, so I managed well." The success of the Füzesabony students is a testament to the effectiveness of their school's cycling safety program.
