"The couple was swimming when the wife decided to get out of the water and sit on a rock," a witness recounted. "Shortly after, the man began to struggle in the water." Emergency services, including the SAMU (Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência) and the Fire Department, swiftly responded. They transported the man to São Lucas Hospital, where he suffered a cardiac arrest and sadly passed away. The victim's name has not been released by authorities.
