A Black publicist, Nayara Cristina Machado, 29, filed a police report alleging racial discrimination at the upscale Fofo de Belas cafe in Belo Horizonte's Lourdes neighborhood. Machado claims a manager approached her in a passive-aggressive manner, questioning her prolonged stay while working on her laptop. "She asked how much longer I'd be there," Machado stated.
