Two Found Dead in Burned Car in Rural Galicia
Two bodies were discovered in a burned-out vehicle in a remote area near Caneda, Campo Lameiro, Galicia, Spain, on Saturday. The grim discovery was made by hikers around noon. According to Abel Losada, subdelegate of the Government in Pontevedra, the victims' identification will require DNA analysis due to the significant damage caused by the fire. "Now is the time to let the agents of the Civil Guard work and not make speculations that could compromise the investigation," Losada stated. The Civil Guard is actively investigating the incident, and all hypotheses remain open. The incident also caused a small brush fire. The bodies were removed late afternoon. This tragic event underscores the importance of thorough investigation in such circumstances.
