The bustling Semana Verde de Galicia fair in Silleda, Spain, has concluded, setting new records for both overall and international exhibitor participation. Ricardo José Durán Rodríguez, director general of the Semana Verde de Galicia Foundation, expressed his excitement, stating, "Empezamos esta edición con récord de expositores, con 758. Tamén con récord de expositores internacionais, con 69." This marks a significant milestone, surpassing previous years' attendance by a considerable margin. The fair showcased a diverse range of sectors, with tourism playing a prominent role. Luísa Ferreirós of Aroma de Galicia Turismo emphasized the importance of the event for promoting Galicia abroad, explaining, "Veño buscando contactos para ofrecer Galicia no estranxeiro, queremos vender Galicia dunha forma diferente e queremos atraer un turismo de calidade, cremos que temos un produto espectacular." The event also included the International Buyers' Meeting, connecting Galician food producers with international markets. Pablo Álvarez of Quesería La Antigua highlighted the opportunities this provided for export.
