¿Es posible saber el precio de un coche de segunda mano solo con su matrícula?
La tasación rápida que ofrecen muchas empresas de compraventa esconde matices que deben tenerse en cuenta en una transacción.
Bilbao, Spain – Gesticar, a local car dealership, recently offered a transparent look into its vehicle appraisal process, featuring a 2018 Nissan Qashqai with 81,000 kilometers. The process, documented by a Gesticar employee, revealed the meticulous steps involved in evaluating a used car for purchase and resale. The appraisal began with an exterior inspection. The Gesticar representative noted that the front tires had 5mm tread and the rear tires 6mm, indicating they did not require immediate replacement. However, he pointed out several cosmetic imperfections, including minor scratches that could be polished out, a small dent on the rear door that would require a 'varillero' (paintless dent repair specialist), and a significant red-painted scratch on the front bumper. The rear bumper also needed adjustment. Delving into the car's history, the Gesticar employee disclosed that the Nissan Qashqai had an intriguing past. 'This car was a rental for three or four years,' he stated, 'and then it was bought by Clicars [a competitor] and sold within a month. The current owner bought it in 2022.' This history meant the vehicle had accumulated 'three or four' previous owners, with Gesticar potentially becoming the fifth. After a thorough mechanical verification, diagnostic checks, and a 4-5 kilometer test drive, Gesticar reached an agreement with the client to purchase the vehicle. The dealership plans to perform a 'strong maintenance' and bodywork before offering the Nissan Qashqai for sale at 16,990 euros. 'We have reached a good agreement for both the client and us,' the Gesticar representative concluded, emphasizing the competitive pricing for a 2018 SUV. The dealership aims to have the car available for sale in the coming days.
