Niš Celebrates Saint Constantine with Immersive Roman Procession Niš, Serbia – On May 31st, 2025, the city of Niš hosted a captivating celebration of Saint Constantine, featuring a vibrant procession of people dressed in Roman-era costumes. The event, which took place in a park-like setting, drew a considerable crowd of onlookers and participants. The procession included individuals portraying Roman soldiers, carrying shields and banners with inscriptions. Women in period-appropriate clothing added to the historical atmosphere. One participant, dressed as a Roman centurion, commented, "It was an honor to take part in this event. We aimed to bring a piece of history to life for the people of Niš." Another participant, dressed as a Roman matron, added, "It's wonderful to see so many people interested in our history and culture."
