Russia and Belarus Strengthen Ties Through Youth Collaboration: A New Media Hub and Engineering School Take Center Stage Pskov State University (PskovGU) is leading the way in fostering closer ties between Russia and Belarus, with the recent launch of a new media hub and an advanced engineering school. This initiative, supported by the Pskov Oblast administration, aims to engage young people in promoting the values of the Union State and developing innovative technologies. The media hub, a four-module program, includes a strategic communications center, a media industry lab, a sociological research center, and a communication platform called "Dialogue." This multifaceted approach seeks to create a dynamic environment for youth engagement. "The goal is to harness the potential of young people to strengthen the bonds between our nations," says Stanislav Yakivich, a key figure in the project. "We believe that by fostering collaboration in education and technology, we can build a more prosperous and integrated future for Russia and Belarus." Complementing the media initiatives is the advanced engineering school, a joint venture with the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). This school focuses on hybrid technologies in machine building, preparing a new generation of engineers and inventors to contribute to the Union State's technological advancement. This initiative demonstrates a significant commitment to fostering closer ties between Russia and Belarus, not only through political and economic cooperation but also through education and youth engagement.
