Rosalyn Dela Cruz, a resident of one of the affected areas, described the scene: "We saw everything covered in ash. Even the vehicles were coated in a thick layer of gray dust." The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has warned that further eruptions are possible, maintaining the volcano's alert level at 3. Donato Sermeno III, Regional Director of OCD-MIR, stated, "There is no increase in the number of those evacuating. Those within the 6-kilometer permanent danger zone remain there." Despite the ongoing threat, the affected communities show resilience. Evacuees are receiving support from local authorities and aid organizations. The situation remains under close monitoring.
