Rodriguez, Rizal Drug Bust Nets Four Suspects, One Still at Large Rodriguez, Rizal – In a significant development in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs, four suspected drug pushers were apprehended in a buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The operation, which followed over a week of surveillance, resulted in the seizure of more than 100 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value exceeding ₱788,000. Police Chief, PLTCOL Paul Macasa Sabulao, stated, "The house was being used as a drug den; that's where their customers went, and where they used drugs." While four suspects were taken into custody, a high-value target managed to evade capture. The arrested individuals are currently facing charges under Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). The Rodriguez Municipal Police Station is continuing its investigation and pursuit of the remaining suspect. This successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
