GMA Network's Eco-Fair Celebrates Sustainability and 75th Anniversary

GMA Network Celebrates World Environment Day with Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair The GMA Network recently marked World Environment Day and its 75th anniversary by hosting the Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair on June 5th, 2025. The event, held in the Philippines, showcased a variety of eco-friendly products and locally sourced goods. The fair featured numerous vendors offering sustainable alternatives, from bamboo toothbrushes to herbal plants and organic produce. Ms. Angela Javier-Cruz, VP & Head of GMA Corporate Affairs & Communications, stated, "We thought of putting together our partners from the public and private sector to help the network spread sustainability and our efforts towards caring for the environment." The event also included a tree-planting activity, demonstrating a commitment to environmental action. Leah Marie Ayeng, Chief Executive Officer of Prestige Paper Products, a participant in the fair, highlighted the use of responsibly sourced paper in their products, stating, "The products we are showcasing are from a well-managed forest; it's actually an audit for the forestry industry."
