Belinda anunció que grabará un “dueto de chicas superpoderosas”.
Mexico City, September 1, 2025 – Following her much-talked-about appearance at Shakira's concert in Mexico City, pop sensation Belinda sat down with Grazia Mexico to discuss her career trajectory, the evolving music industry, and her ambitious future plans.Belinda expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to share the stage with Shakira, highlighting the importance of female solidarity in music. "This gesture that Shakira had with me today demonstrates so much how the industry has changed," Belinda stated. "Ten years ago, women didn't collaborate together, they didn't get into the studio to compose. Today, we are sharing, just like men always do in their songs. We also have to support each other more, respect each other more, and work as a team. I think this is a very important moment for women in the music industry."Looking ahead, the artist revealed a packed schedule. In October, she will return to the theater for a season of performances alongside Mariana Treviño in "Mentiras," a project that has gained significant traction thanks to the success of its musical series. "I'm so excited to return to the theater," she shared, recalling her last theatrical role in "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar."Beyond the stage, Belinda is preparing for a demanding role in Spain, where she will portray Carlota, the last empress of Mexico. "Being able to play Carlota, who was the last empress of Mexico, a revolutionary woman, there's so much more to her that people don't know," Belinda explained. "To be able to tell her story and represent that is also a great opportunity, and I think it will be a moment I will never forget. It will be, I think, the most important character I've done so far, and I am super committed to this project." This role will require her to spend several months in Spain, a commitment she embraces with her heart still in Mexico. Finally, Belinda urged fans to listen to her recently released album, "Indómita," which she described as "full of surprises," featuring tracks like "Rayo McQueen," "Aries," "Curse de Más," and "Death Note." She also teased that "much more music" is on the way.
