El vídeo de la Guardia Civil para los que van en autocaravana o caravana: está prohibido viajar así
La Guardia Civil ha recordado cómo no se puede viajar en caravana o autocaravana de cara al verano, donde aumenta el uso de estos vehículos.
Road safety for caravan and motorhome travel in Spain is highlighted in a recent Guardia Civil video. The video emphasizes the importance of safe driving practices, considering factors such as speed, vehicle dimensions, and weight. According to the video, passengers in motorhomes can travel in the living area, but those in caravans are prohibited from doing so while the vehicle is moving. The officer also details regulations regarding towing caravans, noting that the towing ball must be approved and that caravans exceeding 750 kg require inertia brakes. Regarding vehicle inspections (ITV), caravans under 750 kg are exempt, while those over 750 kg require their first inspection after six years of registration, followed by inspections every two years. Motorhomes have their first inspection at four years, with subsequent inspections every two years until they reach ten years old. "Our goal is your safety," stated a Guardia Civil spokesperson, emphasizing the importance of adhering to these regulations for safe travel.
