London, UK - Hattie, a freelance ballet dancer, actress, and model, has found an unconventional solution to London's steep rental market, allowing her to live rent-free for over a year. After completing her ballet studies and returning from Orlando, Hattie faced the challenge of securing accommodation without a substantial deposit. Her innovative approach involves utilizing 'TrustedHousesitters,' a platform that connects pet owners with individuals willing to care for their homes and animals in exchange for free lodging. Hattie, who explicitly states her video is not sponsored by the platform, has completed 27 house-sits, primarily caring for cats, which necessitates moving every two to three weeks. She describes living out of a single suitcase, with most of her belongings stored at her sister's residence. While acknowledging the challenges of a nomadic lifestyle, such as constant relocation and limited wardrobe access, Hattie emphasizes the significant financial freedom and flexibility it provides. "I don't have a nine-to-five where I need to be on a set schedule. I'm freelance, I make my own schedule, so this is honestly ideal," she stated.
