Racist Murder in France: Anti-Terrorist Investigation Launched

A Tunisian man was found murdered in the town of Puget-sur-Argens in the Var region of France on May 31st. A neighbor, a 53-year-old Frenchman, has been arrested. Another neighbor, a 25-year-old of Turkish origin, was also injured. The national anti-terrorist prosecutor has taken over the investigation. The suspect allegedly made racist comments and posted videos on Facebook claiming responsibility for the attack. Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated that the incident has a 'terrorist dimension'. He plans to visit the Tunisian embassy on June 3rd. The investigation is ongoing.
