Martinovic, along with Mladen Jankovic, another former bodyguard to a different deceased Skaljari leader, was taken into custody. The robbery occurred on Friday afternoon, with two individuals using a pistol and pepper spray to subdue employees before stealing a significant amount of jewelry from the "Mikel" jewelry store on Miljana Vukova Street. Martinovic's lawyer, Zeljko Djukanovic, told Vijesti portal that his client denies any involvement in the robbery, stating he had "no contact" with the crime. Martinovic was questioned by authorities and subsequently held for 72 hours. The investigation is ongoing.
