A Chinese paraglider, Peng Yunyan, experienced a terrifying ordeal when he was unexpectedly pulled into a powerful updraft during a routine flight in the mountains of the Qilian range. The sudden gust of wind propelled him to an altitude of over 8,500 meters, where he faced extremely dangerous conditions. Temperatures plunged to -40 degrees Celsius, and oxygen levels became critically low.
