Chris Brown Denied Bail in GBH Case

Chris Brown's bail denied in alleged nightclub assault case. The 36-year-old R&B singer appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Abraham Diaw in February 2023. The alleged incident occurred at a London nightclub two years ago. District Judge Joanne Hirst deemed the case too serious for her court and transferred it to Southwark Crown Court. Brown's legal team argued for bail, but their request was refused. Brown's next court appearance is scheduled for June 13th. This is the first time he has returned to the UK since the alleged incident. The UK and Ireland legs of his tour will likely be cancelled as a result.
