London Samurai Sword Attack: 14-Year-Old Boy Murdered in Brutal Spree
A 14-year-old boy was brutally murdered in London on April 30th of last year, allegedly by a 37-year-old man wielding a samurai sword. The incident was part of a series of attacks that lasted approximately 20 minutes. According to the prosecution at the Old Bailey, the suspect, Marcus Sardimonzo, didn't know any of his victims. Ian Woods, reporting live from the Old Bailey, stated, "These terrifying attacks...all happened around 7 o'clock in the morning...Today, the trial began with the prosecution outlining their case." The attacks also included a pedestrian and a couple who were assaulted in their home. The suspect was only stopped when the couple's four-year-old child began crying. Police later discovered a skinned cat in the suspect's home. Sardimonzo is facing eight charges, including murder and attempted murder. The trial continues next week. This case highlights the urgent need for addressing violence in our communities.
