Seta Fest: Iztapalapa Prepares for Mushroom Celebration at Kiosko de Santa Bárbara

Iztapalapa, Mexico City – The upcoming Seta Fest, an event dedicated to mushrooms, is scheduled to take place on August 23, 2025, at the Kiosko de Santa Bárbara in Iztapalapa. Attendees arriving via public transport can reach the venue by taking Metro Atlalilco (Lines 8 or 12). From the metro station, visitors are advised to locate Calzada Ermita Iztapalapa, identifiable by a prominent monument. The route continues along General Anaya street, passing an Oxxo convenience store and the IMSS daycare, recognized by its colorful facade. Upon reaching the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, visitors can either walk approximately five blocks or opt for a mototaxi, which typically costs around 15 pesos, requesting a drop-off at the Kiosko or Santa Bárbara Parish.
