A unique automotive project by Jauntmotors has brought a rare stainless steel Moke into the 21st century with a comprehensive electric conversion. The vehicle, which has been rebuilt from the ground up, now boasts enhanced power and performance. According to Jauntmotors, the electrified Moke features a 72-kilowatt, 175-Newton-meter motor and a 19-kilowatt-hour battery pack, strategically distributed for optimal weight. This configuration reportedly gives the Moke a torque-to-weight ratio exceeding that of a Tesla Model 3 Performance. The conversion also includes a polished stainless steel design, new bumpers, CNC machined badging, LED lights, ADR compliant seats, and a custom roll bar system. A discreet pop-up charge port maintains the vehicle's original aesthetic lines, while selectable driving modes, including a 'Sport' mode, offer versatility for drivers. The project highlights innovative engineering in electric vehicle conversions, maintaining the Moke's classic appeal while significantly upgrading its capabilities and reliability.
