A Scottish woman, known online as Jess, has shared a compelling account of the benefits of living in Greece, offering a sun-drenched perspective on expat life. In a recent video, Jess, who is nearing 30, detailed several 'pros' that make her life in the Mediterranean nation particularly appealing. Foremost among her highlights is the exceptional weather. "Living in the sun... who doesn't want to spend majority of the year living in nice weather?" she remarked, emphasizing the consistent warmth. This climate, she noted, significantly simplifies daily chores. "I can get all my washing washed and dried all in the same day," Jess explained, adding that clothes hung on her balcony are typically dry within an hour to an hour and a half. She contrasted this with her experience back home, stating, "I swear back home I could never ever get my washing dry within a day." Beyond the practical advantages, Greek cuisine also features prominently in her positive experiences. While she expressed a general love for Greek food, she specifically lauded pork souvlaki as her "latest obsession." Living with celiac disease presents a unique challenge, making it difficult to try many traditional dishes. However, Jess is proactive in finding solutions. "I'm always on the hunt for new gluten-free restaurants and bakeries where they do make these foods gluten-free so that I can try them," she stated, noting that she makes a point to visit such establishments in Athens. Jess concluded by inviting viewers to return for the next part of her series, where she plans to discuss more pros of living abroad.
