Paris, France – The French voice cast of Pixar's highly anticipated new film, "Elio," recently sat down to discuss their roles and the film's intriguing premise. Among them was veteran presenter Jamy Gourmaud, who lends his voice to the character of Gunter Melmac. Gourmaud shared insights into his first major vocal role in cinema, stating, "They proposed that I embody this character. I discovered the character during the trials, and it went very well!" He also recounted his initial uncertainty about the role, saying, "I admit that at first, I didn't know what I was going to do and what I was going to fall into." The conversation later expanded to include Zita Hanrot and Alban Lenoir, who were posed a thought-provoking question central to the film: "Who would you choose to represent Earth to aliens?" The question, which is explored in "Elio," sparked a humorous exchange. Hanrot playfully suggested Rihanna, noting her widespread appeal: "Because in fact, she's so cool and so out there. She's already so much in the turf that, well, there you go." Lenoir, with a smile, offered a more relaxed choice, "Me, I'd send Vianney." The lighthearted discussion provided a glimpse into the film's themes of intergalactic diplomacy and human representation.
