Ashanti Regional EOCO Director Edward Cudjoe addressed public criticism, stating, "Critics are blowing matters out of proportion." He emphasized that EOCO followed established legal procedures. "Due process has been followed," Cudjoe confirmed, adding that Wontumi's legal team agrees. He also noted that human rights are a priority and that Wontumi has been granted bail, with the opportunity to appeal the terms if deemed excessive.
