Bucharest Hosts Vibrant Turkish Language and Children's Festival Bucharest recently played host to the Yunus Emre Institute's Turkish Language and Children's Festival, a colorful celebration of culture and education. The event, held in the city's National Theatre, drew nearly 1000 students learning Turkish in Romanian schools. The festival featured performances by children's dance troupes in traditional Turkish and Romanian costumes. Popular singers, including Denis Cem and Otilia, added to the festive atmosphere. Otilia, a former student of the Yunus Emre Institute, shared her excitement about performing for the children, stating, "I've always loved singing for children; they're full of energy, and I love sharing mine." The festival also included representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and the Romanian Ministry of Education, symbolizing the strong cultural ties between the two countries.
