Nevet kellett váltania egy híres magyar városnak, rendkívüli az indok
Totálisan átírták a nevét, nem is egyszer.
Pesterzsébet, a Budapest district, experienced numerous name changes in the 20th century, as highlighted by Király Nóra. Starting as Erzsébetfalva and Kossuthfalva, it merged in 1897. Briefly Leninváros in 1919 under the Council Republic, it soon reverted. It gained city status as Pesterzsébet in 1923, then became Pestszenterzsébet in 1932, honoring Saint Elizabeth. Post-war and communism, it rejoined Budapest as Pesterzsébet, a name maintained consistently since 1999. This historical evolution reflects significant political and social shifts, offering insight into the district's dynamic identity.
