Kazakhstan Enhances Labor Safety with Tech and Surprise Inspections
Kazakhstan strengthens labor safety with digital tools and unannounced inspections. The government is implementing new measures to improve workplace safety and reduce industrial accidents. A digital risk map helps identify high-risk companies, while real-time sensors monitor gas, noise, and temperature levels. Labor inspectors have been granted the authority to conduct unannounced inspections to ensure compliance. "This initiative aims to eliminate the formal approach and increase the effectiveness of inspection activities," said Svetlana Yakupova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection. The Prime Minister, Alikhan Smailov, has set a deadline of November 1st for the integration of information systems for monitoring accidents in hazardous industries. These changes reflect Kazakhstan's commitment to modernizing its labor protection system and protecting its workforce.
