Ghanaian Official Accused of 30 Million Loan Fraud A significant financial scandal has rocked Ghana. Gifty Owure Mensah, acting director of an unnamed authority, stands accused of securing a 30 million loan from the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB-AG) using fraudulent means. The investigation revealed Mensah used the identities of others without their knowledge or permission to register a company, Blocks of Life Consult, to obtain the loan. The video shows that Mensah, with the help of her lawyer husband, Peter Mensah, presented Blocks of Life Consult as a supplier of home appliances to national service personnel. Subsequently, Mensah transferred the funds to four different company accounts: Amiakom, Scaffold, Oche, and Aristo Logistics and Trading. The investigation further uncovered that Mensah is a director of Amiakom and Scaffold company, and that the funds were misappropriated. "We have this on record; we have all the bank details," stated an unnamed source in the video. This case highlights the urgent need for stronger financial oversight and accountability within public institutions.
