During the interview, Bardem articulated that his roots, family, friends, language, and internal sense of belonging are firmly in Spain. "Here are my friends, my family, my roots, my language, my country," Bardem stated, emphasizing his deep ties. He further explained, "My internal vibration is here, and what concerns me is the politics of my country, society in general." The actor highlighted his desire to be present and contribute to Spanish society, stating, "It's here where I want to be to lend a hand in whatever way I can, humbly, but to be present." He also expressed his joy in working on Spanish productions, mentioning an upcoming project with Sorogoyen. "Being able to film in Spanish, in Spain, is a luxury," he remarked, describing it as a different kind of "organicity" for him.
