Guatemalan President Arévalo has called for immediate dialogue between Israel and Iran to de-escalate the ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Speaking at a press conference, the President urged all parties involved to "return to the paths of peace." He emphasized the global concern over the escalating conflict, stating, "In recent days, Israel and Iran are increasing tensions, and the conflict worries the world." In response to potential economic repercussions for Guatemala, President Arévalo announced a crucial ministerial meeting. He has instructed ministers from Foreign Relations, Economy, Finance, and Energy and Mines to analyze possible scenarios and evaluate the direct and indirect potential conditions of this conflict on the Guatemalan economy.
