
Peruvian and Italian Universities Forge Groundbreaking Nursing Partnership
Peruvian University UCV partners with Italy's Humanitas University in landmark nursing program. Lima, Peru – May 31, 2025 – Universidad César Vallejo (UCV) and Humanitas University in Italy have announced a new international educational alliance, creating exciting opportunities for Peruvian nursing students. The partnership, highlighted in a recent video released by La República, will see students from UCV participating in exchange programs and benefiting from the expertise of Humanitas, a leading institution in health sciences. "We've been working on this agreement for a long time," stated Pilar Jimenez, Director of the UCV School of Nursing, in the video. "Today, we're interacting with the young people who have applied. Thirty students will go to Humanitas in September, and 26 nursing graduates will participate in the program in November and the following year." Silvia Floren, Head of Talent Acquisition at Humanitas University, emphasized the importance of the human element in the collaboration. "What we find above all is that there are many technical skills and competencies, but what we see is the human face and the quality of the human relationship," she said in the video.
