Lepel District, Belarus: Summer Camps Keep Kids Active and Engaged Summer vacation has begun for schoolchildren in the Lepel district of Belarus, and local educational institutions have organized a variety of enriching activities to keep them busy and engaged. Eleven day camps are currently operating, accommodating 541 students. Additionally, 79 children are enjoying the benefits of labor and recreation camps, while 15 are participating in a military-patriotic camp, and 30 are involved in a mobile tourist-local history camp. A large overnight camp, "Borovk," has plans to accommodate 490 students. "The summer camps provide a safe and fun environment for children," said an official from the Lepel district education department. "We offer a wide range of activities to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow during the summer break."
