People Won't Stop Raving About A313 And Laluset, So I Asked A French Pharmacist…
Do they really work? And if they do, just how well do they work?
In a recent online video, makeup artist and esthetician Lesli shared her personal anti-aging skincare regimen, featuring two popular French pharmacy products: A313 Pommade and Ialuset Crème. Lesli, known for her skincare tips, described A313 as a potent retinol that acts as a chemical exfoliant, helping to remove dead skin cells and address concerns like fine lines and wrinkles. She advised users to introduce A313 cautiously, starting once a week and gradually increasing to a maximum of three times per week. Crucially, Lesli emphasized applying A313 directly to clean skin, without any serums or moisturizers underneath, to maximize its efficacy. She also cautioned against applying the product to sensitive areas such as the lips and directly under the eyes, recommending application on the orbital bone instead. For individuals experiencing dryness from the retinol, Lesli suggested pairing A313 with Ialuset, a prescription-grade hyaluronic acid cream, applied on top for extra hydration. This 'duo,' as she called it, aims to achieve 'buttery glass skin,' according to the expert.
