Un experto financiero señala que se trata de una inversión a largo plazo y una parte esencial del patrimonio familiar
A recent video from real estate expert Libertad Inmobiliaria challenges the popular dream of owning a holiday home, labeling it a significant financial misstep. The expert, known for his guidance on real estate investments, argues that the high costs associated with maintaining a second home, such as a beach or mountain property, can quickly erode its perceived value. "If you buy a property for 150,000 euros and factor in all the expenses, you'll find it costs between 200 and 300 euros for each day you actually use it," the speaker explains. He suggests that this capital could be better utilized in more profitable rental investments. The video proposes an alternative strategy: invest in properties that generate rental income, and then use those profits to rent holiday accommodations as desired. "I don't buy the home I live in, nor a beach apartment. Instead, I make profitable investments in other properties that I rent out," he states. This approach, he claims, offers greater flexibility, eliminates the burden of amortization, and avoids being tied to a single location. The expert concludes by advising viewers to "leave emotions aside and invest intelligently," emphasizing that investment decisions should be based on financial logic rather than personal desires.
