Historic Nao Santa María Replica Docks at Poole Quay for Limited Engagement
Poole, UK – The historic Nao Santa María, a full-scale replica of Christopher Columbus' iconic vessel, has arrived at Poole Quay, offering a unique glimpse into maritime history. Docked from June 12th to 22nd, the ship invites visitors to step aboard and explore its decks, immersing themselves in the era of discovery. The Nao Santa María, a protagonist in one of history's most important milestones – the discovery of America – provides an interactive experience for all ages. Guests can walk her decks and feel the authentic wooden structure, reminiscent of the original ship's voyages across oceans. The floating museum has traveled from Spain as part of a European tour, with Poole being a key stop. This educational and engaging attraction is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM. Tickets are available for regular visitors (ages 10 and up) at £10, children (ages 5-10) at £5, and a family package (2 adults + 3 kids) for £25. Children under 5 can travel free on board. Tickets can be purchased at the ship or online at www.naosantamaria.org. The organizers encourage school groups to take advantage of this unique educational opportunity.
