
Atyrau Holds Large-Scale Kazakh Language Proficiency Test
Atyrau Hosts State Language Proficiency Test Atyrau, Kazakhstan – From May 20th to 22nd, a significant diagnostic testing initiative took place in Atyrau, focusing on assessing the state language proficiency of local employees. This large-scale assessment involved approximately 600 participants from various sectors, including government agencies, budget-funded institutions, and prominent companies like KazTransOil and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. The initiative was a collaborative effort between the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Atyrau Regional Department of Culture and Languages Development, and the "Til" educational and methodological center. The testing utilized the Qaztest system, a standardized platform designed to evaluate language skills. One participant, speaking on condition of anonymity, commented, "The test was challenging but fair. It helped me identify areas where I need to improve my Kazakh language skills." Another participant added, "It's a valuable opportunity for professional development and advancement within our organizations." The successful completion of this testing program represents a significant step towards improving state language proficiency in the Atyrau region and highlights the ongoing commitment to language development in Kazakhstan.
