The cabinet has reportedly allocated billions of forints towards climate development and the modernization of cooling systems across various healthcare institutions. According to a news report from ATV, patients continue to complain about the heat within hospital facilities, exacerbating existing concerns over increasing surgical waiting lists. State Secretary Takács Péter stated that a 3 billion forint framework has been established for a cooling modernization program this year, with work already underway at 26 locations. He also mentioned a 4 billion forint reserve fund designated for emergency situations. The report follows previous attention drawn to hospital conditions, including a visit by politician Magyar Péter last summer to assess the situation firsthand.
