Speaking at a press conference, Fadzil stressed the importance of responsible journalism in building a society that is both informed and integrated. "Media plays a pivotal role in shaping public opinion," he said, "and it's crucial that they act with integrity and accuracy." Fadzil's remarks came ahead of the National Journalists' Day (HAWANA) 2025, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on June 3rd. The celebration will include the announcement of the event's theme and logo. The minister also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work of Malaysian journalists, acknowledging their significant contributions to the nation. The event aims to bring together media professionals from across Malaysia, aligning with the spirit of ASEAN 2025.
