Get fully immersed in art at the WNDR Museum in Boston
One exhibit named INSIDEOUT lets guests experience an intense storm using lights, strobes and noises.
BOSTON, MA – The WNDR Museum, an innovative interactive art exhibit located at 500 Washington Street in Boston, is redefining the traditional museum experience by inviting visitors to actively engage with its installations. Unlike conventional museums, WNDR encourages guests to touch, play, and interact with nearly all of its 20 distinct art exhibits. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a vibrant display of interactive art. Highlights include a large pin wall where guests can create imprints, a captivating light installation that simulates a thunderstorm with dynamic lights and sounds, and the "Magnetic Symphony" experience, allowing individuals to listen to music through unique devices. The museum also features screens that bring animations to life, a communal "Wisdom Project" wall where visitors can leave notes and thoughts, and a collection of old-fashioned telephones offering various recordings. Further exhibits showcase a dynamic display of global social media content and an installation where visitors can create beats that light up the space. As a unique memento, guests have the option to have a high-resolution photo taken of their iris, which is then added to a collective display, literally becoming a part of the museum's evolving collection. The WNDR Museum aims to challenge perceptions of how people interact with art, providing an immersive and memorable experience for all ages. The museum is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
