Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac Embarks on Extensive European Road Trip in His Hypercars Zagreb, Croatia – Mate Rimac, the visionary CEO of Bugatti Rimac, has commenced a remarkable week-long road trip across Europe, utilizing his personal Bugatti Chiron and Rimac Nevera. The journey, which began in Zagreb, Croatia, will see Rimac travel to significant automotive events and locations, including the International Auto Show in Munich, Germany, and the Bugatti Festival in Molsheim, France. In a recent video update, Mr. Rimac addressed the common misconception that hypercars are rarely driven. "Most people would think that hypercars and especially Bugattis are very rarely used," he stated. However, he proudly revealed that his Bugatti Chiron recently surpassed the 30,000-kilometer mark, with his Rimac Nevera also approaching a similar mileage. He emphasized that both vehicles are "heavily used," not only by him but also by friends, employees, and customers for various events, underscoring the practicality and usability of these high-performance machines. The itinerary includes a visit to the International Auto Show in Munich, which has relocated from Frankfurt. Following this, Mr. Rimac will proceed to Molsheim for the Bugatti Festival, where he anticipates meeting many customers. The trip will conclude with a return to Zagreb, a brief stop, and then a journey to Vienna before heading back to Zagreb. Mr. Rimac also demonstrated the surprising practicality of his Bugatti for extended travel, showcasing how he stores a week's worth of suits and shirts using a dedicated coat hanger behind the seats, in addition to luggage in the front trunk. He expressed enthusiasm for the journey, stating, "You can do long road trips in a hypercar, especially in a Bugatti, and not be tired after it." He concluded by inviting followers to meet him at the upcoming events.
