Woman Discovers Chronic Sinusitis After Years of Undiagnosed Illness
A woman who has experienced persistent illness for the past two years recently shared an update on her health, revealing a diagnosis of chronic sinusitis. She recounted how she frequently felt unwell, leading to attempts at self-diagnosis, including using ear cleaning kits and ear candles, believing the issue stemmed from her ears. A recent consultation with an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist confirmed the chronic sinus infection, which has been present for approximately ten years, varying in severity. The diagnosis explains her prolonged periods of feeling sick and her reduced ability to fight off other illnesses. She is now undergoing a month-long treatment with a special nasal spray and will have a CT scan of her sinuses to determine if surgery is required for relief.
