In Lagunillas, a small town in the Sucre municipality of Mérida, Venezuela, a unique initiative unfolded on May 25th, 2025. Jean Mesa, along with local community leaders, embarked on a mission to ensure that every citizen had the opportunity to exercise their right to vote. They traversed the town, visiting homes and offering transportation to the nearest voting centers. "We came to Lagunillas to pick up our people from their homes and accompany them to their voting centers," Mesa explained, highlighting the collaborative effort with local leaders. One elderly woman, visibly moved by their assistance, expressed her gratitude, stating, "It's wonderful that you're here. Thank you for helping us."
