MINNESOTA – Mikayla Raines, the founder of Saveafox, a prominent fox rescue organization, announced a significant new phase in their ongoing efforts to save foxes from fur farms. In a recent video update, Raines, accompanied by Finnegan, one of the rescued foxes, shared plans to bring an additional 20 foxes to safety, which will bring the total number of rescued animals to just under 100. The rescue operation, which has been ongoing for nearly two years, faces the challenge of providing adequate space and care for the animals while awaiting their permanent adoption. To address this, Saveafox plans to construct individual 10x10 enclosures for each fox. Raines highlighted that this initiative is crucial for improving the living conditions of the animals, many of whom have been in their care for an extended period. "We want those last 100 out," Raines stated, expressing concern for the foxes who have waited so long. She emphasized that the success of this new phase is dependent on public support. "It's all about how much we can raise," she added, appealing for donations to fund the construction of the new enclosures and facilitate the continued care and eventual adoption of the rescued foxes.
