Milan Hosts Charity Football Match to Support Homeless Individuals A unique charity football match is set to take place in Milan on June 8th, bringing together a team of social media influencers and a team of formerly homeless people. This event, organized by the Protetto Onlus, aims to raise awareness and funds for their crucial work in helping people off the streets. The "Team Milanobelladadio," comprising well-known Italian social media personalities and journalists, will face "Atletico ProTetto," a team formed by individuals who have experienced homelessness. The match will be held at the G.S. Villa soccer field, starting at 5:30 PM. The event is free to attend, and the organizers expect a large turnout. "This is an important match because we aim to make the homeless visible," explains Fernando Barone, President of Pro_Tetto. "We've already helped four people leave the streets and start a new life." The Protetto Onlus has collaborated with organizations like Pavia Calcio, and sponsors such as Se Servizi Ecologici and Milanostello, to support this initiative. The match symbolizes hope and the power of community to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. It's a testament to the positive impact that collaboration and social responsibility can have in creating a more inclusive society.
