Unicorns or Chargers? Spanish Expert Debunks Electric Vehicle Charging Myth

Madrid, Spain – A recent segment of the 'Ultrarrápidos' series, produced by Moeve, tackled a common myth surrounding electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Renowned motor journalist Antonio Lobato challenged Isabel Gorgoso, Director of New Mobility at Moeve, to debunk the notion that ultra-fast chargers are as elusive as unicorns. During the segment, Ms. Gorgoso presented data indicating a significant expansion in Spain's ultra-fast charging network. "Unicorns, for now, I haven't seen any. But what I do see more and more are ultra-fast chargers," she stated. She revealed that the number of ultra-fast chargers in Spain doubled in 2024 alone, with many more awaiting connection. "It took a while to advance in technology, but today we have more than enough," Ms. Gorgoso added, successfully disproving the myth within the allotted 30 seconds.
