Budapest, Hungary – Public figure Áron Molnár has issued a strong rebuke against what he describes as dangerous hate speech in Hungarian public discourse, specifically addressing recent comments made by Jeszenszky Zsolt. In a video uploaded on September 14, 2025, Molnár Áron first urged his audience to listen carefully before presenting a clip of Jeszenszky Zsolt on a television panel. During the televised segment, Jeszenszky Zsolt, identified by Molnár as a 'Fidesz influencer,' made provocative statements concerning political opponents. He was quoted saying, 'Molnár Áron, who is the biggest moron, Puzsér, who is the most aggressive, or Gulyás Marci, who is the most harmful... the demons have possessed him for a while now.' He further added, 'If someone among them were to die, probably many on the right side would not be sad.' Molnár Áron responded directly to these remarks, stating, 'The right side is not equal to Fidesz.' He emphasized that he holds values from both the left and right, and has many friends with right-wing sentiments whom he deeply respects. He condemned Jeszenszky Zsolt's comments as 'terribly dangerous and harmful thoughts,' particularly in such a sensitive public topic. 'To say that if someone dies, people on the right side would not be sad, is a terribly dangerous and harmful thought,' Molnár Áron asserted. He continued by expressing his concern for future generations, stating, 'I would not want to live in a country where these thoughts are given space and time, and can be publicly uttered without consequences.' He articulated his vision for a future Hungary: 'I know there will be a Hungary where one can live in peace, love, and freedom. This is what I fight for!' Molnár Áron also announced a public gathering, urging people to 'unite against hatred,' scheduled for September 21st at 17:30 at Heroes' Square in Budapest, with the event starting at 18:00. He encouraged support for 'change' via his website.
